For DTC apparel and accessories brands running paid ads in the US

Paid acquisition and creative strategy for apparel and accessories brands.

If the math doesn't work on one order, it doesn't work on a thousand. So the work runs in order: what one order is worth, whether the price is believable, who the ad is for. Budget comes fourth.

Free if your store is a fit. No ad account access. You hear back either way, same day.

The path the money takes
1

The ad

What it has to make someone understand

2

The product page

Fit, fabric, sizing, returns

3

The order

What lands once it ships

What's left

After cost, shipping, discounts and returns

The Ad-to-Order Teardown: one pass over all three, ranked and delivered in writing.

The method has run in six markets: Japan, Ireland, France, the United States, Mexico and Brazil.

  • Women's apparel
  • Men's apparel
  • Activewear
  • Bags and accessories
  • Jewelry
  • Full-price brands

01 / The problem

Buying more orders is the easy part. Knowing what's left after one ships is the hard part.

You are not wrong that the number looked fine. Platform ROAS counts the order at checkout. It does not count the one that came back three weeks later.

  • Size and fit returns.

The order got counted in ROAS, came back through inventory, and left through the bank.

  • One hero SKU carries the number.

When it fatigues, or the middle of the size curve sells out, there's no plan B, there's a scramble.

  • Creative restarts every drop.

Fatigue shows up before the next collection does, and the reflex is more spend behind the same tired ad.

  • Nobody can name the CAC a single order can carry.

Until someone can, raising budget is a guess about how much you can pay.

These symptoms don't always share one cause. But none of them get solved by paying more for the same customer.

Scaling doesn't fix the math.

02 / The approach

Budget is the fourth decision, not the first.

The work runs in this order, because each one sets the terms for the next. Three of them close before anyone touches the spend.

  1. Before any spend

One: What one order is worth

What an order leaves after cost, shipping, discounts and returns, and whether the price is set where that margin needs it.

This is the only one that needs your books. At what ROAS does the account stop losing money, and at the ROAS you run today, what is contribution margin actually doing?

  2. Before any spend

Two: Whether the price is believable

Whether a stranger has been given a reason to accept your price before the price shows up, because cold traffic inherits nothing.

A brand described only by its specification ends up competing on price, because a specification is comparable and a story is not. In fashion the hook is often how the fabric moves, whether the piece is worn or only shown, and whether sizing and returns are answered on the page or found at checkout.

  3. Before any spend

Three: Who the ad is for

One buyer, specific enough to picture, and the product that earns the ad slot by being both profitable and explainable.

It is not about luxury. It is about full price, and a customer who buys the piece instead of waiting for the code.

  4. Spend

Four: What more money may do

Where the next dollar goes and what it is allowed to buy, answered only once the other three are settled.

Budget goes up because the decisions underneath it are holding, not because last week looked good.

03 / What we do

What we do.

Paid acquisition and creative strategy are the business. It starts with a Teardown, which is free if your store is a fit. Anything past it is its own engagement, and nothing gets priced before the scope is written down.

04 / Fit

Who this is for.

This is for you if

You run an established clothing or accessories store, already invest in paid ads, and can act on recommendations or bring the decision-maker into the conversation.

Not the right fit yet

This is not designed for pre-launch stores, wholesale-only businesses, or projects that require guaranteed financial results. It is also a poor fit if price, the product page and the return rate are off limits.

05 / Process

How it starts.

  1. 1

    Step 1

You send the store and the problem

Four fields, about a minute, on the Teardown page. You're telling us what's stuck.

  2. 2

    Step 2

A person opens it, and we say yes or no

Not a tool and not a scoring form. An email comes back the same day, yes or no. If it lands in the evening you hear back the next business morning. When it's no, we tell you why in the same email.

  3. 3

    Step 3

If it's a yes, we go through it live and send it in writing

One call, your store on the screen, run by a specialist from our team with the finished read in front of them. The written version follows on the date we name on the call.

Questions

What brands ask before they send us a store link.

Who are you, and who actually does the work?

We work only in apparel and accessories. Your store is read by the person doing the work, and the call is run with the finished document in front of them.

Do you need access to my ad account?

No passwords, no ad account access. We work from what's public: your store, your product pages and the ads you have live. Beyond that, we ask for numbers, and you choose which ones you open. If a deeper analysis later needs account data, we ask for read access through Business Manager, tell you what we're looking at and why, and you can revoke it whenever you want.

Do you guarantee ROAS or a revenue lift?

No. We don't give one. A guarantee on a number we don't control wouldn't be worth anything to you. What we do commit to is the scope of the Teardown, and an email answer inside one business day, same day when we can, including when the answer is no.

I already have an agency. Should I still ask?

Having an agency isn't a reason to skip this. If you want the problems fixed in the sequence they should be fixed in, send it, and forward what comes back with our name nowhere in it. Ask your team what CAC a single order can carry. If the answer comes back with the math attached, you probably don't need us. If it comes back as a blended ROAS, that's the gap this is built to open.

Do you run paid media, and what does it cost?

We do. Paid acquisition and creative strategy are the business. Anything past the Teardown is its own engagement: a deep account audit, creative production, ongoing management. Nothing gets priced before the scope is written down.

Nothing about the math changes while you wait.

Every dollar you put behind ads in the next 90 days runs through the same product page, the same size curve and the same order economics you have today.

Four fields. If it's a fit, you pick a time on the next screen.
